Inspired by Our Founder

The DIOP Top, made of 100% wax print cotton, is the origin of our company. It is inspired by the beautiful custom shirts our co-founder Mapate’s mother would make for him. With prints and patterns inspired by the African diaspora, our clothes are made to be dressed up and down.

Print Details

A flip on our best-selling Mud Black, this pattern is inspired by Bogolanfini, a handmade Malian cotton fabric dyed with fermented mud that dates back to the 12th century. A timeless look, the symmetry of its markings give it a seamless feel.
