Inspired by Our Founder

The DIOP Top, made of 100% wax print cotton, is the origin of our company. It is inspired by the beautiful custom shirts our co-founder Mapate’s (pictured here!) mother would make for him. With prints and patterns inspired by the African diaspora, our clothes are made to be dressed up and down.

Perhaps our most popular pattern to date (and the only one from our original collection still available), this highly-stylized design is both elegant and exciting. From the floral detail on top to the wishbone underneath, we love the versatility this pattern offers.
